You will receive a Welcome Pack from the Work in Ireland team. This will include the visa application guide and the next steps.
Once we have confirmed your eligibility, you can gather all of the documents required for your visa application. We’re here to answer any questions you have.
Flights & Insurance
USA applicants will need to purchase flights & insurance as part of the visa application (Canadian applicants need insurance only at this stage).
This will include your arrival information and the Work in Ireland Handbook. You will receive your pre-departure pack once you have paid in full.
Your IRP appointment (immigration registration) will take place in Ireland and must be booked 8 weeks prior to your arrival date (if you intend on staying in Dublin). The team will offer advice on how to secure this appointment successfully.
Arrival in Ireland
You will attend Orientation in your first week at the Work in Ireland office in Dublin. The team will run through all the steps you need to take in your first couple of weeks in Ireland. You will also receive job assistance, house hunting tips, and you’ll get to meet other participants on the program.
