• 2 forms of proof of Identity. This includes:
  One must be a clear photocopy of the personal details (photograph) page of your passport (if your passport is currently valid)
  You then have the option of using a document that has your full name and a photograph example, are Drivers license, Student card from university or International student card such as an ISIC card.
• Proof of student status: (a, b or c).
  a) Official school transcript clearly indicating full time status in University for the 2008/2009 academic year, course/degree duration and your current year in that degree/ course
  OR
  b) A letter from the office of the Registrar clearly indicating full time status for 2008/2009, the degree/ course duration and your current year in that degree/course.
  OR
  c) Official stamped declaration from University/College confirming the date you graduated.
• 2 passport photo’s (2 x 2 inch in size)
• Should you decide to purchase an alternative Insurance policy, (other than the insurance policy offered by USIT Work and Travel ) an Insurance indemnity form which you can get from the website and proof of your alternative insurance policy.
  

Please note that once you have submitted your documents via post or email, we will send you on a Application pack with information about applying for your Visa. The documents that you will need for applying for your visa are:

• Valid United States passport; 2 recent identical passport photographs with your name on the reverse;
• Current curriculum vitae (with references);
• Original bank statement showing that you have access to 1,500 (or USD equivalent) plus a return ticket (purchase a very flexible ticket, often these will appear to cost more, but if you need to adjust your travel times, it is the most leient.) ; or 3,000 (or USD equivalent)
• Originals of any qualifications obtained or letter from school/college/university
  a) Official school transcript clearly indicating full time status in University for the 2008/2009 academic year, course/degree duration and your current year in that degree/ course
  OR
  b) A letter from the office of the Registrar clearly indicating full time status for 2008/2009, the degree/ course duration and your current year in that degree/course.
  OR
  c) Official stamped declaration from University/College confirming the date you graduated.
• The relevant fee of 250 or dollar equivalent. Payable by bank draft, postal order, or certified check.

Please note that one month’s insurance covers you from the 1st to the 30th (or 31st) of the month. If you are departing in the middle of a month, you will be buying insurance for the whole month. For example, if you purchased insurance from June 28st to August 2nd, you will actually require 3 months insurance, because you are travelling in June, July and August. If you just want 2 months insurance, your dates would have to be June 1st to July 31st. Please keep this in mind when entering your arrival and departures dates for Ireland.

Your work authorization will entitle you to remain in Ireland for 12 months in total. Please be aware that you are required to have insurance for the full duration of your time abroad.

Should you wish to purchase alternative insurance, you must submit an insurance indemnity form at the time of application along with an administration fee of $30.
